The Heart and Stroke ACLS Experienced Provider (EP) course, using an interactive format that focuses on critical thinking and decision making, will apply your practice skills and your knowledge of ACLS algorithms to work through scenarios involving more than 60 case studies. You will move past the standard ACLS scenarios into addressing more complex and specialized cases.
Our course builds on the skills and knowledge you’ve gained in previous ACLS Provider and/or Provider Renewal courses and your real-world experience managing a healthcare team in emergency situations.
For you to achieve the best possible learning outcomes from our ACLS EP course, you will need to possess clinical skills, knowledge and ability in:
- High-quality BLS
- Extensive ACLS experience
- Recognition of common cardiac ECG rhythms
- Effective management of airways and use of adjuncts
- Knowledge of cardiac pharmacology
- Case management experience
- High-performance team skills
For admission to our course, you must successfully complete our online ACLS EP Entrance Exam, receiving a minimum score of 84%. The exam will test your knowledge of current and critical ACLS concepts, including ACLS algorithms and practice skills.
