Refund policy

To withdraw from a course, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice prior to the course start date. If notice is given within this timeframe, a refund will be issued minus an administrative fee.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the course start date.

To cancel your registration, email info@sksims.ca with your full name, course title, and course date.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled course, you may request to reschedule to another course date within 6 months of the original date. Reschedule requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the original course date. No administrative fee will be charged for rescheduling.

In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, SIMS may waive cancellation fees at its discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible with your full name, course title, and course date so we can review your situation.

SIMS reserves the right to cancel any course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to instructor illness, inclement weather, or low enrolment. In such cases, SIMS will attempt to notify participants at least 24 hours in advance and will provide rescheduling options where possible. SIMS assumes no liability for course cancellations.

Participants are responsible for all additional costs related to course attendance, including travel, accommodations, meals, mileage, or lost wages.
