The Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course prepares you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to both medical emergencies  and trauma emergencies in a pre-hospital setting. This comprehensive program covers patient assessment, airway management, trauma care, and medical emergencies, aligning with the NOCP's to ensure you're ready for the demands of emergency medical services.

Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profile for the practitioner level of the emergency medical responder (EMR).

This course is intended for any individual who wants to work with a provincial ambulance service, industrial site. Provides a great foundation for those who are wanting to take the Primary Care Paramedic program.

Participant must be certified in Red Cross Standard First Aid with CPR level C.
